Data and purposes
The website has no contact forms, user accounts, purchases, analytics or advertising tools. If you contact us by email or telephone, the information you provide —such as your name, email address and enquiry— will be processed to respond and, where applicable, manage a business relationship.
Legal bases
Enquiries about potential contracts are handled on the basis of precontractual steps requested by the individual; contractual relationships on the basis of contract performance. Other enquiries are handled under the legitimate interest in responding to communications, balanced against the individual’s rights. Legal obligations are addressed under the relevant legal basis. Data will not be used for other purposes without a valid basis.
Retention
Enquiry data will be kept for the time needed to address the request and, where applicable, for legally required periods and potential liabilities. The specific period depends on the enquiry or relationship and applicable obligations.
Recipients and technical services
Loading this website requires technical data, such as your IP address, to be communicated to the hosting service. Hosting and email providers may be involved in delivering these services. Retention, recipients and any international transfers relating to technical services depend on the hosting and email services used. The website code does not include external tracking services.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability by emailing selvi@textilselvi.com. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. Additional identification will only be requested when necessary. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Links and local storage
Google Maps and Instagram are opened only when you click their links; their widgets are not embedded. Their policies apply when you access them. The cookie notice stores its acknowledgement status in your browser as described in the cookie policy.
Legal framework and scope
This policy addresses personal data associated with access to the website and communications through its published channels. It is interpreted under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018. It does not replace specific notices required for other relationships, including contracts, employment or supplier management.
Data minimisation and sources
Enquiry data comes from the person contacting the company and should only be used as needed to respond. Do not provide sensitive information, such as health data, or identification documents unless necessary for the request. If acting for an organisation or providing another person’s data, ensure a valid basis for disclosure and limit it to relevant information.
Voluntary communications and automated decisions
Providing contact information is voluntary, but its absence may prevent a response if there is no alternative contact channel. This website code does not create profiles, make automated decisions with legal effects, maintain user registrations or track behaviour for advertising. Sending an enquiry does not amount to consent to marketing campaigns.
Marketing communications
Enquiry data must not be used indiscriminately for advertising. Marketing communications require a valid legal basis and compliance with Spanish Law 34/2002. Where such communications are sent, recipients must be able to object or unsubscribe easily and without charge. The current website has no newsletter subscription.
Providers and international transfers
Hosting and email services may access data needed to deliver their services. Where they act as processors, the relationship must satisfy Article 28 GDPR. Transfers outside the European Economic Area require a mechanism under Chapter V GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards. No specific location or presence or absence of international transfers is asserted without knowing the providers’ configuration.
Security, retention and restricted storage
Processing requires technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks and confidentiality obligations. No communication channel guarantees absolute security. Once a purpose ends, data must be erased or, where legally necessary, restricted to addressing liabilities for the applicable periods. Contractual records may have commercial or tax retention requirements different from those for general enquiries.
Rights requests and time limits
Identify the right you wish to exercise and provide enough information to locate your data. An identity document is not required by default; additional identification may be requested only where there are reasonable doubts about identity. Requests must be addressed without undue delay and generally within one month. A further two months may be allowed for complex or numerous requests, with notice within the first month. Requests are free, subject to the legal exceptions for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Limits and complaints
Rights apply subject to their legal conditions. For example, erasure may be limited by retention duties, and portability requires the conditions in the GDPR. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and, in all cases, to direct marketing. You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at https://www.aepd.es if your rights have not been respected. The published email enables requests to the controller.
Updates
This policy may change to reflect actual processing changes or legislation. Adding forms, measurement tools or new services requires revised information and, where required, valid consent before data is used for those purposes.
